Automation Systems Technology Centre (ASTeC)

Automation Systems Technology Centre (ASTeC) is a state-of-the-art Research and Development Centre in Automation and Related Areas launched by Dept. of Electronics and Information Technology(DeitY) under Ministry of Communications & Information Technology(MCIT),Govt. of India in April 2007. This five year programme is implemented through the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing , Thiruvananthapuram. A National Steering Committee comprising of eminent experts from different institutions in India guides the activities of ASTeC.
